Thomas Showalter

CCP, SHRM-SCP, Director

Thomas will be the HR Services Account Manager. Thomas holds a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation from World at Work and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Oregon. Thomas is the founding Director of ConnectHR. Before joining The Wilson Agency, Thomas managed HR for several mid- and large-sized companies in the Pacific Northwest and Alaska, to include three of Alaska’s largest corporations. Across his twenty years of experience in Human Resources, Thomas has become known for building highly functional HR infrastructures and working closely with operational leaders to deliver business oriented HR solutions and services. Thomas also has been active in addressing the unique challenges of Alaska’s healthcare market, creating a network of Alaska’s leading employers to address shared issues and concerns. His industry experience includes engineering, construction, telecommunications, oil field services, technology, security, retail, consulting, non-profits, and government contracting. At ConnectHR, he leads a team of certified HR professionals who draw upon their HR and industry expertise to provide outstanding HR solutions and services to our clients.

Misty Pfeifer

HR Services Sr. Partner, PHR, SHRM-CP

Misty is responsible for handling day-to-day HR operations. Misty holds a Professional Human Resources (PHR) certification, a SHRM-CP, a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and recently received her MBA from UAA. Misty has worked for The Wilson Agency since 1999 and is now ConnectHR’s Lead HR Services Partner for our Anchorage office. Misty has over ten years of experience providing employers a full range of HR services, with especially strong expertise in recruiting, benefits, and HR systems. She has worked with employers and clients in oil field services, telecommunications, healthcare services, non-profits, and construction. Misty has earned a reputation as an unflappable professional with a rare combination of people, technical, and administrative skills. At ConnectHR, Misty is the primary HR services provider for many of our professional services clients.

Virginia Rosser

HR Services Partner & Client Support Specialist, SHRM-CP

Virginia provides our clients with a broad range of technical and administrative support. Prior to joining ConnectHR Virginia held positions at Delta Constructors, BP Exploration, Royal Alaskan Movers and Geneva Woods. In these positions she was tasked with applying her strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, HR systems and general administrative, technical and customer service skills. A lifelong Alaskan, Virginia has spent the last nine years cultivating administrative talents to include extensive organizational knowledge and customer service with a focus on technical support and compliance. Virginia’s industry experience includes Alaska’s health care system, oil & gas, transportation and construction. At ConnectHR, Virginia utilizes her experience to provide professional services, benefits administration, and management of HRIS systems.

Lindsay Sauerlender

HR Services Partner, PHR

Lindsay partners with businesses and works diligently to take care of each organization’s unique HR needs. With a background in Human Resource Management, she has experience designing and implementing effective solutions for the many challenges companies face when trying to maximize their workforce. She has advised executives on a broad spectrum of human resource demands, including hiring, employee relations, benefits, company policy, and HR systems. Lindsay holds a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington. Her approach to Human Resources is both methodical and progressive and she has a passion for making a long-term difference for business leaders. She is a skilled communicator and a reliable collaborator who takes pride in delivering results that exceed expectations.

Brittany Thomas

HR Services Client Support Specialist

Brittany strives to bring the best possible service to our clients by providing strong administrative support to the ConnectHR team. Prior to joining ConnectHR Brittany worked at Albers & Company, a family company to ConnectHR, for 5 years. At Albers & Company, she gained valuable insight on benefits administration, HR services, and group retirement plan management. Brittany holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management with an emphasis in Human Resources from the University of Idaho. Brittany specializes in administrative support, customer service, and HR systems. She has been known to build strong relationships with her clients that are long lasting.

Cheryl Evans

EMBA-SL, SPHR

Cheryl Evans is a lifelong Alaskan. Cheryl graduated from the University of Fairbanks with her Bachelor degree in Business Administration and a minor in Human Resources. She wanted to pursue her education and expand her existing degree and graduated from Alaska Pacific University with an Executive MBA in Strategic Leadership (EMBA-SL). Cheryl has experience working with government agencies, DOT, the Alaska Railroad, Small Family Owned businesses, and utilities and engineering firms. Cheryl’s style allows her to be comfortable in the board room and the warehouse.

Virgilio Cintron

PHR

Virgilio is an HR process and systems enthusiast with years of experience in scaling HR solutions from small shops to multi-national organizations. His experience includes HRIS system implementations & upgrades, recruiting, onboarding, HR compliance, deploying talent management/retention programs, HR metrics, and HR process improvements. Virgilio’s skill at building and deploying scalable HR systems, give leaders time back to spend achieving organizational objectives.

Virgilio has a BA in Business Management from Western Washington University and a Masters in Organizational Management and Development from Fielding Graduate University. He currently serves on the South Puget Sound SHRM Board of Directors and is PHR certified.

Nandita Lal

Ed.M., SHRM-SCP

With nearly 26 years of diversified experience in Human Resources, Nandita is well versed in the provision of comprehensive HR services across a wide range of organizations. She has worked in both profit and nonprofit settings, spanning a myriad of industries including healthcare, telecommunications, Alaska Native, education, and federal contractor.

Nandita has been called on throughout her career to lead organizations in start-up mode or those looking to take their HR departments to their full optimal functionality. With a proven track record as a strategic business partner, Nandita is poised to work with clients requiring guidance on compliance, employee relations/retention, HR best practices, metrics, performance management, policy development, workplace investigations, formal responses to EEO/DOL charges, and conflict resolution.

Nandita has a BBA in Marketing from the University of Alaska Fairbanks and a Master of Education in Human Resources from Boston University. She is both SPHR and SHRM-SCP certified.
